Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Radiology Department.
- Assist physicians during operative procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with a Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with administering conscious sedation is preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
