Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will operate advanced medical imaging equipment and assist in various imaging procedures, including angiography and cardiac catheterization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit accountability and compassion while performing procedures and patient care.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment safely, adhering to established protocols.
- Conduct technical radiographic procedures efficiently.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and ensure high-quality radiographic images.
- Document all relevant patient information prior to examinations, including medical history and informed consent.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and radiologists throughout procedures.
- Participate in rotating on-call duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential is also acceptable with minimum Interventional Radiology experience.
- A minimum of two years of licensed experience in Radiology, including at least one year in Interventional Radiology.
- 18 months of experience in special procedures; Angio, Peripheral, and Neuro experience is a plus.
- BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
