As a Registered Nurse in Special Procedures Radiology, you will have the opportunity to enhance your nursing career while positively impacting patient outcomes. We value your expertise and commitment to nursing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate the treatment of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist physicians during various operative procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and examination notes.
  • Administer medications as per physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in an acute care environment is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing is advantageous.
  • Experience with administering conscious sedation is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
