Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment and assisting in procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization. Your role will include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients safely and competently.
  • Performing technical radiographic procedures accurately and promptly.
  • Administering contrast media in line with departmental protocols.
  • Ensuring high-quality radiographic images and reviewing them for compliance with standards.
  • Documenting pertinent patient information and maintaining effective communication with patients and radiologists.
  • Participating in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) and current ARRT credential; RCIS credential is a plus.
  • A minimum of two years of licensed experience in Radiology, including at least one year in Interventional Radiology.
  • BLS certification and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
