Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Radiology Department.
- Assist physicians during various operative procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license.
- A Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN is preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with administering conscious sedation is preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking skills, commitment to service excellence, and effective communication abilities.
