Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Radiology Department.
  • Assist physicians during various operative procedures.
  • Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
  • Administer medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license.
  • A Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with administering conscious sedation is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, commitment to service excellence, and effective communication abilities.
