Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in delivering strategic HR support to leaders and employees within designated business functions or learning centers. This position is tasked with formulating and implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and facilitate the attraction and retention of high-caliber talent. The HRBP is responsible for advising leaders and staff on best practices, corporate policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals while adhering to local business and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing HR business support to designated leaders and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a collaborative and accountable culture through effective communication.
  • Ensure uniform application of policies, procedures, and company values while collaborating with various Centers of Excellence to execute HR initiatives and enhance organizational performance.
  • Assist leaders in recruitment, onboarding, and employee development efforts, guiding them in performance management through timely feedback to cultivate a positive work environment aligned with corporate culture.
  • Investigate and facilitate the resolution of employee relations matters.
  • Contribute to the implementation of programs aimed at enhancing performance culture and team engagement.
  • Support succession planning by leading local talent reviews that focus on both technical skills and behavioral competencies to identify top talent and development needs.
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team to attract and secure top talent for current and future roles, developing comprehensive onboarding plans in partnership with business leaders.
  • Interpret and implement policy and documentation requirements to ensure compliance with business and local regulations.
  • Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to assess metrics and work with senior HRBP to identify strategies for continuous improvement within the business function.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, serving as a liaison between local and functional areas and enterprise HR/L&D.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: PHR/SPHR certification or similar HR professional credential.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and employees, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
  • Foundational understanding of engagement strategies related to culture, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR standards, principles, and best practices, along with familiarity with labor laws pertaining to employee relations.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing consultative HR support in a dynamic professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a proven track record of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems, with experience in SuccessFactors being advantageous.

Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment typical of this role require regular use of hands for tasks such as typing and handling materials, as well as effective communication skills. The employee may need to stand, walk, or sit as necessary. Visual acuity is essential for reviewing documents and operating equipment. The noise level in the work environment is generally low to moderate.
