Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in delivering consultative support to leaders and employees within designated business functions or learning centers. This role is essential in crafting and implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and promote the acquisition and retention of high-caliber talent. The HRBP is responsible for advising leaders and employees on best practices, company policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives while adhering to local business and compliance standards. This position also involves coaching leaders on interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management, while effectively managing risks and maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily consultative HR support to assigned leaders and employees, addressing needs and concerns to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and effective change management.
  • Ensure the consistent application of policies, procedures, and company values, maintaining partnerships with various Centers of Excellence to execute HR initiatives and drive continuous organizational improvement.
  • Assist leaders in recruitment, onboarding, and employee development efforts, guiding them in performance management through timely feedback to cultivate a positive work environment aligned with company culture.
  • Investigate and support the resolution of employee relations matters.
  • Contribute to the delivery of programs aimed at enhancing performance culture and fostering highly engaged teams.
  • Facilitate local talent reviews to support enterprise Succession Planning objectives, focusing on identifying top talent, talent gaps, critical roles, and individual development plans.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting to attract top talent, determining recruitment strategies and developing comprehensive onboarding plans for new associates.
  • Interpret and communicate policy and documentation requirements to ensure compliance with business and local regulations.
  • Utilize HR reporting and dashboards to analyze metrics, partnering with senior HRBP to identify strategies for continuous improvement within the business function.
  • Support ad hoc projects, acting as a liaison between local and functional areas and enterprise HR/L&D.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • PHR/SPHR accreditation or similar HR professional qualification is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with a detail-oriented approach and effective stress management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of HR standards, principles, and best practices, along with knowledge of labor laws related to employee relations.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing consultative HR partnership in a dynamic professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, databases, and internet applications; experience with HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors is a plus.
