Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for directing all marketing initiatives at Milhaus, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the marketing team's success and efficiency. This role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including development, capital markets, asset management, operations, and property management, to achieve the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a creative communicator with a strong background in digital marketing, a strategic mindset, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Lead, mentor, and support a marketing team by prioritizing tasks, managing workloads, overseeing project management, and facilitating the hiring and training of new team members. Foster professional growth through coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Oversee all marketing functions, including public relations, digital marketing, property lease-up strategies, internal and external communications, branding, investor relations marketing, property marketing plans, and corporate initiatives.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including the creation of press releases, white papers, and award submissions.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns for property lease-ups, working closely with property management teams to enhance lead generation through various marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Experience Coordinator to establish an investor relations marketing program.
  • Evaluate current expenditures, policies, and vendor relationships to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved ROI.
  • Partner with the Property Management Trainer to enhance training on marketing platforms, social media, branding, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and market shifts to foster innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Deliver creative branding for new properties while serving as a brand ambassador to uphold Milhaus and property brand standards.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively.
  • Participate in various marketing-related events and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in marketing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
