Role Overview
The Strategic Product Lead (SPL) is responsible for converting customer insights into actionable strategies, focusing on the design, development, testing, and launch of innovative solutions tailored for health and health sciences programs nationwide. This position requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful realization of our strategic product vision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate market needs into detailed business requirements and functional specifications for development teams.
  • Engage in the product discovery process to identify customer needs and market trends, collaborating with UX teams to visualize concepts.
  • Act as the primary business representative with delivery teams, ensuring the customer perspective is integrated into product development.
  • Prioritize requirements and work collaboratively across teams to address delivery challenges, ensuring timely product launches.
  • Oversee all stages of product development, addressing obstacles in partnership with product management and development leads.
  • Support launch initiatives, including communication and training plans, in collaboration with marketing, sales, and operational teams.
  • Manage ongoing product enhancements and routine activities to maintain product health, including feature updates and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and manage product-related expenditures in alignment with budgetary constraints.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or Healthcare, complemented by relevant professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or project management.
  • Proven track record in translating market requirements into actionable business strategies and viable product solutions.
  • Experience in managing all phases of the product lifecycle, preferably in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage risks effectively.
  • Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with technology stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and conferences.
