Financial Crimes & Fraud Prevention - Global Analytics, Modeling, and Data

In this position, you will strategically oversee customer fraud escalations and enhance strategy rules to improve the customer experience for the Citi Retail Services and Brands portfolios.

The Citi Cards Fraud Analytics Team is tasked with executing fraud analytics and strategies, recognizing fraud patterns, and designing and implementing measures to avert and mitigate fraud incidents. This encompasses application and synthetic ID fraud, account takeover, and emerging attack methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster innovation through thought leadership and the application of advanced techniques
  • Take ownership of fraud rules, scoring systems, and detection strategies
  • Deliver measurable business advantages and value
  • Introduce state-of-the-art techniques and streamline processes for swift decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish strategies that balance risk and reward
  • Build strong relationships and ensure the timely execution of essential priorities
  • Evaluate processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Prioritize critical tasks and cultivate high-performing teams

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in fraud or risk management
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • 3+ years of experience in the card segment of the financial sector
  • Extensive experience in a Big Data environment, coding, and advanced machine learning methodologies
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and effective coaching abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field
  • Master's Degree or PhD preferred
