Position Overview

The Hillsboro Club, a prestigious oceanfront private residence club located in South Florida, is in search of a skilled Front Desk Agent to enhance the operations of our Front Desk Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless experience for our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all guests with a warm and inviting attitude upon their arrival.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurately recorded.
  • Handle payment processing and maintain precise records of all financial transactions.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, or any concerns they may have during their stay.
  • Manage reservations and ensure that all guest information is current and accurate.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests promptly.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Provide guests with information and recommendations regarding local attractions, dining options, and events.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards and represent the club positively at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with other computer systems.
  • Knowledge of reservation software (e.g., Opera, Maestro) is advantageous.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
