As the Club operates continuously, flexibility in shift schedules, including varying days and hours, is essential.

This is a full-time, hourly role offering a competitive wage of $21 per hour, compensated biweekly.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Events Coordination:

  • Support the Director of Sales in organizing and executing weddings and special events.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their requirements and preferences, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in event execution.
  • Collaborate with vendors, staff, and various departments to guarantee flawless event delivery.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all areas meet the club's exceptional standards.
  • Manage event schedules, ensuring all activities proceed smoothly and on time.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and guests, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Activities Coordination:

  • Assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities for adults and children, including sports, entertainment, and educational programs.
  • Coordinate logistics for activities, encompassing scheduling, staffing, and necessary materials.
  • Lead or supervise activities as required, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
  • Collect feedback from members and guests to enhance the quality and variety of activities offered.
  • Support the promotion of activities to club members, including the creation and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Maintain an inventory of activity supplies and ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related area is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse clientele and team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the club's event schedule.
  • A proactive and positive demeanor with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport event materials and supplies as necessary.
