This distinctive position entails assisting the Director of Sales with weddings and special occasions during the peak season and collaborating with the Activities Director to facilitate engaging activities for both adults and children during the off-peak season.

As the Club operates continuously, flexibility in shift schedules, including varying days and hours, is essential.
This is a full-time, hourly role offering a competitive wage of $21 per hour, compensated biweekly.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Events Coordination:
- Support the Director of Sales in organizing and executing weddings and special events.
- Engage with clients to ascertain their requirements and preferences, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in event execution.
- Collaborate with vendors, staff, and various departments to guarantee flawless event delivery.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all areas meet the club's exceptional standards.
- Manage event schedules, ensuring all activities proceed smoothly and on time.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and guests, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Activities Coordination:
- Assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities for adults and children, including sports, entertainment, and educational programs.
- Coordinate logistics for activities, encompassing scheduling, staffing, and necessary materials.
- Lead or supervise activities as required, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
- Collect feedback from members and guests to enhance the quality and variety of activities offered.
- Support the promotion of activities to club members, including the creation and distribution of promotional materials.
- Maintain an inventory of activity supplies and ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related area is advantageous.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse clientele and team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the club's event schedule.
- A proactive and positive demeanor with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software is a plus.
- Physical capability to lift and transport event materials and supplies as necessary.
