Overview

The Trust & Agency Services (TAS) division offers a range of services including Trustee, Calculation Agent, Paying Agent, Tax Agent, Custodian, and Debt Agency services on a global scale for Structured Finance, Global Debt, and Depositary Receipt transactions. The Analytics team focused on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) is tasked with developing and maintaining models that adhere to established rules in our roles as Cash Manager, Calculation Agent, and/or Portfolio Administrator. As a US CLO Analyst within Trust & Agency Services, you will engage with a portfolio of CLO transactions, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Your role will involve significant interaction throughout the transaction lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in all aspects of the CLO analytics team, focusing on process and project deliverables; this includes establishing asset compliance models, managing databases, and generating reports.
  • Analyze and interpret governing legal documents such as Prospectuses, Bond Indentures, and Collateral Management Agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with junior team members, client services, legal representatives, rating agencies, bond insurers, and underwriters to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of governing documents.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by comprehensively understanding deal structures to provide clients with clear explanations of calculated outputs.
  • Proactively investigate and resolve any discrepancies in data accuracy.
  • Prepare and present reports to clients within agreed timelines, coordinating with clients and relevant internal departments to ensure efficient transaction handling.

  • Mentor junior team members, facilitating training and knowledge sharing across product and system domains.
  • Work in conjunction with client services and broader analytics teams to address issues and discrepancies related to CLO transactions.
  • Engage with external clients, investors, and accounting firms to address inquiries and resolve complex CLO calculation issues.

Skills You'll Need

  • A degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering, complemented by relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of CLO Securities and compliance calculations.
  • Proficiency in the Solvas CLO administration platform for developing compliance models.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Structured Query Language.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and guide junior members of the analytics team.
