Human Resources Manager

About Us: Therapy Smarts, Inc is a therapist-owned private pediatric outpatient clinic providing SLP, PT, and OT services to children of all ages and diagnoses including: autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, apraxia, dyslexia, feeding disorders, and developmental delays.
Job Description: Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements staffing strategies to attract and hire top talent.
- Ensures employee retention at the clinic is maintained at an acceptable level.
- Subject Matter Expert in a variety of HR related programs providing necessary resources to empower employees with the knowledge and materials needed (Benefits, Payroll, Continuous Education resources).
- Reviews accuracy of timesheets and process payroll.
- Leads workplace investigations or other inquiries arising out of needs expressed by employees and/or manifestation of policy infraction(s).
- Supports performance management: ensures annual reviews are completed and bonus processed.
- Provides guidance on clinic workforce planning, succession planning process, and talent development.
- Maintains oversight and responsibility for all HR related compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of employment law practices.
- Experience in administration of benefits, compensation, and other programs.
- Knowledge and use of commonly used HRIS, payroll/timekeeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
