Inventory Management Specialist

At Integrated Resources, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for site preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Buying OEM inventory and ensuring proper goods receipt
- Processing new additions and change forms, storing inventory, and issuing parts to work orders or cost centers
- Cycle counting physical inventory and processing min/max changes
You will actively ensure compliance to Good Documentation Practices, Safety, good housekeeping practices, and Environmental regulations while achieving operating cost goals.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures, policies, and standard business practices
- Maintaining proper management of spare parts inventory to improve site reliability
- Interacting with hourly, salaried, and contract employees in routine matters, troubleshooting inventory management, and continuous improvement project work
- Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and coordinating safety, current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and environmental compliance programs
- Participating in root cause investigations, evaluating, improving business processes, and developing rationale for improvements
- Providing reports, data, and information to support on-going operations
- Frequently communicating with immediate supervisor about status of projects or assignments
- Developing strong relationships with site operations to ensure consensus on operational compliance issues
- Supporting routine safety and regulatory inspections
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience | Knowledge | Skills:
- Three to five years warehousing and inventory management experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills including flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
- Good analytical abilities, organizational skills, written and verbal communications
Heavily Preferred:
- SAP experience. Prior experience in spare parts/inventory management a huge plus
Preferred:
- Sourcing and procurement of MRO items
- Pallet jack operation and safety experience
