Job Summary

The Duke University Office for Central Human Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team. This role involves advising and assisting management, faculty, and staff with responding to employee issues and concerns. Key responsibilities include interpreting HR policies and procedures, making recommendations as necessary, and initiating measures to address systemic problems or issues.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field
- Five years of demonstrated HR experience in a dynamic, complex service-oriented culture

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field
- Project management experience with the ability to conduct research and analysis

Work Environment

This exempt position is hybrid, with the Senior HR Consultant expected to work on-site or at a designated assignment location a minimum of two days per week. The Senior HR Consultant must also reside in a Duke University-approved state.
