Job Summary

The Manager, Clinician Services is responsible for managing the clinician cohort, overseeing and identifying company clinician resourcing needs, selection, onboarding, line management and financial reconciliation. This role will also provide other operational support within the Clinician Services department.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Manage and monitor a team of clinicians according to company policy, including recruitment, hiring, and invoice processing.
  2. Direct management of employees and contractors, including where assigned hiring, development, and performance management.
  3. Work with the Clinical Science team and Clinician Services leadership, providing input on identifying the need for clinicians to meet study requirements, including internally or externally sourcing clinicians.
  4. Assist Clinical Science team with prioritizing training needs, providing input to trainers on individual training and performance plans.
  5. Collaborate with the Clinical Science team and the Clinician Services leadership to ensure optimal clinician utilization, projections, and coverage of assessment needs across studies.
  6. Co-developing and implementing materials such as SOPs, ensuring quality control measures are implemented, analyzing reports, and developing process efficiencies.
  7. Provide input as needed for Business Development bids.
  8. Meet resource and operational requirements as specified by projects from various departments that relate to the Clinician Services department.
  9. Oversee/coordinate internal QC of processes and metrics related to standard operating procedures and departmental processes.
  10. Partner with Human Resources in clinician recruitment process, to ensure that clinician hiring needs are met according to study requirements and timeline.
  11. Work with Human Resources and IT to effectively and efficiently on-board new or returning clinicians to ensure that they are trained and ready on agreed upon timeline.
  12. Partner with Finance and external vendors to monitor and approve financial obligations for clinicians.
  13. Work to process clinician payments and assist department head with budget management.
  14. Manage timesheet reviews, paid time-off approval, and IT challenges which may impact clinicians.
  15. Assist in developing and implementing departmental processes as needed.
  16. May perform clinician duties if needed.
Education Requirements

Graduate degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or related field preferred.

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical trials or research setting or other clinical setting preferred. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience diagnosing and/or treating patients with psychiatric disorders, neurocognition disorders, and/or other study relevant indications preferred. 2 years supervisory experience preferred, including interviewing and candidate selection.
