About the Role

Justrite Manufacturing Co LLC is a leading industrial safety company that protects workers, workplaces, and the environment with a comprehensive range of industrial safety solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director, Distribution to drive sales results within a set of named distributor and end user accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop strategies for distributor and end user customer accounts for growth and cross-sell expansion.
  2. Own the Sales Process: Own the entire sales process and outcome with distributors and large end users in an assigned account package located within a geographical area.
  3. Drive End User Sales: Drive end user sales and brand preference leveraging distributor partner relationships with largest end users.
  4. Support Customer-Facing Sales Plans: Help develop and support customer-facing sales plans that align with company KPIs and customer targets.
  5. Present Key Insights: Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Achieve Sales Volume: Achievement of sales volume to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota levels.
  7. Develop Strategic Presentations: Develop strategic presentations used in distributor and end customer settings.
  8. Identify Sales Opportunities: Identify strategic sales opportunities supported by category- and customer-driven insights.
  9. Stimulate Team Approach: Stimulate a team approach across internal and external teams.
  10. Collaborate with Sales Leadership: Work collaboratively and proactively with sales leadership and HQ Account Manager to deliver upon sales objectives and deadlines.
  11. Manage and Report Performance: Manage and report individual and customer performance and market activity.
  12. Prepare Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reporting and analysis of key metrics, including pipeline, new prospects, and existing partnerships.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Account Planning: Able to develop and execute account plans aligned with distributor and end user needs.
  • Agreement Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to initiate, negotiate, and close agreements with large accounts and maintain relationships at all levels; proven understanding of go-to-market strategies.
  • Business Management Skills: Excellent business management skills, including forecast accuracy and pipeline development.
  • Independent Planning: Excellent independent multi-task planning, product development, and organization skills.
  • Culture of Excellence: Demonstrated ability to display and thrive in a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel overnight 60% or more.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office products and/or similar CRM.
  • Education and Experience: 4-year degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 7 years sales experience.
