Executive Director, Business Expansion

About the Role

The Executive Director, Business Expansion will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion for OPEN Health's Center of Excellence in Scientific Communications. This role requires a deep understanding of client needs, strong client relationships, and expertise in business development to drive the growth of the COE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the COE, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing and business development content to support growth initiatives
  • Utilize professional networks and relationships to generate leads and drive business growth
  • Support colleagues in expanding their own networks and business development efforts
  • Manage the business development pipeline and ensure leads are converted to wins
  • Lead the pitch process and collaborate with other COEs to drive business growth and expansion

Requirements

Candidates should have extensive experience in business development, a proven track record of driving business growth, and strong leadership and negotiation skills. The role involves some travel, including international trips, and requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
