We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director to join our team at Right At School. As a Regional Director, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our before- and after-school programs across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Area Managers to ensure the effective delivery of our programs and services.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a highly talented team of program staff, including Area Managers and program coordinators.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, parents, school administrators, and external community partners to drive program growth and enrollment.
- Oversee the implementation of our programs and services, ensuring that quality standards are met and opportunities for optimization are identified and implemented.
- Build partnerships with school leaders and relationships with families to ensure that our programs and services meet the needs of our customers.
- Ensure a high level of communication between staff, students, and parents to build a strong and supportive community.
- Own direct P&L responsibilities for all Right At School programs within the assigned portfolio, driving business decisions to achieve program growth and designated revenue objectives.
- Seek out opportunities to promote programs and build enrollment at relevant school and community events.
- Guarantee that all Right At School sites and programs maintain state-specific licensing requirements.
- Partner with regional directors to identify training and development opportunities to support Area Managers across the organization.
- Travel up to 50% to support schools and programs as needed.
- A minimum of five years of professional work experience in a childcare, retail, or related industry.
- 2+ years of experience managing multi-site locations in the field, retail, or other related areas.
- 2+ years of direct P&L experience, with a demonstrated track record of achieving business-related KPIs.
- Passion for operational excellence, with expert-level organization and project management skills.
- Ability to self-solve when possible, but also have the sensibility to escalate problems when needed to ensure all programs meet and exceed desired outcomes.
- Ability to work with technology at a high level, including systems related to financial planning, hiring and managing staff, and customer experience.
- Gifted at leveraging staff's talents and strengths to assign appropriate responsibilities to individuals across programs that achieve business objectives.
- A proven ability to successfully manage a geographically dispersed workforce, with experience establishing high-performing teams.
- Seasoned leadership, conflict resolution, and diplomacy skills, with the ability to breed teamwork and shared accountability.
- Experience in writing and building part-time staff schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, with expectations clear, timelines delineated, and excellence defined.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities from a variety of sources, organizing and prioritizing effectively to impact areas of greatest need.
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
- High School Diploma/GED (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
