Position Summary:
The Implementation and Training Specialist plays a vital role within the Implementation team. This position is responsible for managing and facilitating the integration of leading healthcare providers into our high-performance network. The Specialist serves as the main contact, project coordinator, and educator during the onboarding and integration of providers into our medical group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and onboard designated practices based on the number of providers and the complexity of the practice into Privia Medical Group.
  • Provide project oversight, training, and assistance throughout the integration and go-live phases of physician practices on our electronic medical record and practice management/billing systems.
  • Equip practices for long-term success through cost-saving measures and population health strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate activities between the practice and various Privia teams, including Finance, IT, Billing, and Credentialing.
  • Educate physicians, providers, and office personnel on Privia's processes and technologies in preparation for and following the launch.
  • Deliver post-launch training focused on efficiency, delegation, and population health initiatives.
  • Address EMR inquiries and support through a training listserv for launched clients.
  • Oversee lab ancillary projects, facilitate lab launches, and enhance adoption while managing long-term issue resolution.
  • Maintain a detailed project plan and communicate progress to both the client and Privia management.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effectively manage change and client expectations.
  • Establish ambitious timelines and address critical-path items and deadlines.
  • Be prepared for overnight travel to clients in emerging markets and within existing markets as Privia expands.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in practice management or EHR implementation and training.
  • Experience in technical project management within a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or physician office setting, with knowledge of physician office workflows and processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Knowledge of extended medical terminology.
  • Ability to engage with various levels of clinical personnel, including providers.
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations is mandatory.

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $78,000 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%. The offered base pay will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
