At ManTech International Corporation, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented IT Support Training Specialist to join our team based in Arlington, VA. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch training and support to our government agency clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive IT support training programs to enable government agency IT support personnel to provide exceptional support to consular sections.
  • Develop and implement interactive training materials, including storyboards, screenshots, web design, and script creation.
  • Coordinate training activities and create an annual international and domestic training schedule, working closely with support staff in remote facilities and course management.
  • Prepare student materials and training documentation, ensuring all materials are accurate, clear, concise, and instructionally sound.
  • Review student performance and support requests to determine training impact and conduct research to develop and revise training materials.
  • Provide direct customer support through class portal, email, and direct messaging.
  • Create and maintain computer images and custom scripts used in the classroom environment.
  • Prepare reports and monitor training tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard training standards and software.
  • Provide input to the Training Manager and the Contractor Program Manager on areas of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Education, Information Technology, or Information technology certifications (Comp TIA A+, CTT+, MS-MCT, SAfe, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design.
  • Experience performing deployment, installation, training, and support of new Windows-based computer systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Experience in Customer Service.
  • Understand computer functions, related technical terminology, and how they are applied in everyday business situations.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software (e.g., PCs, Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office).
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior technical training experience.
  • Experience with multimedia development tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with webinar software (Webex, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Experience with applications such as ServiceNow and Salesforce.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
  • A current and active Secret clearance is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to physically lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform installation work in constrained spaces like under work desks, in small cubicles, and counter window environments.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates, briefings, or interface with coworkers, leadership, and customers.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment and interface with coworkers and customers.
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptops, desktops, printers, fax machines, etc.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Must be able to review, decipher, and understand program manuals, software/hardware manuals, training manuals, etc.
  • The majority of work will be performed within a professional office environment. However, training environment setup can require the individual to lift and move computer and other equipment up to 50 lbs in weight, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded. Position may require bending, kneeling, or crawling to get to cables under/behind furniture and server racks.
  • Must be able to fly on international flights up to 18 hours.
