Job Title: Clinical Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Training Specialist to join our team at AllCare Primary and Immediate Care. As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating comprehensive training programs for newly onboarded medical assistants and other clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver standardized curriculum to ensure consistency and quality in training programs across different locations and diverse audiences.
  • Conduct on-site training and assess performance of trainees through observation, return demonstration, and skills assessments.
  • Provide constructive guidance and support for improvement where needed.
  • Deliver engaging hands-on training sessions that introduce new hires to AllCare's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for medical assistants, offering ongoing support and guidance to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical operations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of orientation and onboarding programs through feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Current active EMT/Paramedic, LPN or RN (LPN or RN license preferred but not required)
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Five+ years of clinical training with a primary care/immediate care background, strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting orientation training programs in a variety of settings, including in person and virtual
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and development
  • Strong computer skills – Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint), formatting, drafting and updating documents, creating workflow documentation, Smartsheet use and other computer program knowledge
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems (EHR), Athena preferred
  • Organized, detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and maintain detailed training records
  • Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations
