ManTech is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Training Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver IT-related training programs to enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productively.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and peer review of training materials for accuracy.
  • Maintain policy and standards for training throughout the development process.
  • Ensure training content is accurate based on outside feedback and monitor training changes and updates for dissemination and implementation.
  • Prepare training documentation, analyze existing training materials, and make recommendations to update training processes to satisfy customer objectives.
  • Coordinate training activities according to training program and manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
  • Use independent decision-making to design and develop training materials, reference materials, presentation materials, and job aids.
  • Prepare student materials, ensure all training materials are clear, concise, instructionally sound, and directly support learning objectives, and ensure materials are 508 compliant.
  • Monitor training tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard training standards and software.
  • Provide input to the Training Manager and the Contractor Program Manager on areas of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, information technology, or information technology certifications (MS-MCT, CompTIA CTT+, Agile, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software (e.g., PCs, Microsoft Windows, MS Office).
  • Must be able to travel at least 5% domestically and internationally.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with hotkeys and hotstrings.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with multimedia development tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, etc.).
  • Experience with webinar software (Webex, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Experience with applications such as ServiceNow and Salesforce.
  • Prior technical training experience.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates, briefings, or interface with coworkers, leadership, and customers.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment and interface with coworkers and customers.
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptops, desktops, printers, fax machines, etc.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Must be able to review, decipher, and understand program manuals, IT service requests, work orders, etc.
