Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Training Specialist to join our team at AllCare Primary and Immediate Care. This role is pivotal in facilitating comprehensive training programs for newly onboarded medical assistants and other clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver standardized curriculum to ensure consistency and quality in training programs across different locations and diverse audiences.
  • Conduct on-site training and assess performance of trainees through observation, return demonstration, and skills assessments.
  • Provide constructive guidance and support for improvement where needed.
  • Deliver engaging hands-on training sessions that introduce new hires to AllCare's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for medical assistants, offering ongoing support and guidance to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical operations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of orientation and onboarding programs through feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current active EMT/Paramedic, LPN or RN (LPN or RN license preferred but not required)
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Five+ years of clinical training with a primary care/immediate care background, strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting orientation training programs in a variety of settings, including in person and virtual
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and development
  • Strong computer skills – Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint), formatting, drafting and updating documents, creating workflow documentation, Smartsheet use and other computer program knowledge
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems (EHR), Athena preferred
  • Organized, detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and maintain detailed training records
  • Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations
