Position Summary

The Production Team Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing various operational functions in alignment with Metallics policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an inspiring team atmosphere that promotes open communication.
  • Empower team members by enhancing their skills, confidence, and product knowledge.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members.
  • Establish and execute a timeline to meet production targets.
  • Identify team strengths and address areas for improvement.
  • Set team objectives and assess progress regularly.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring production orders are completed accurately.
  • Monitor team performance and report on key metrics.
  • Encourage and motivate team members.
  • Actively listen to team feedback.
  • Ensure the team is adequately supplied with materials necessary for production.
  • Assist team members in achieving their production goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and confidence.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Excellent organizational skills to guide the team.
  • Basic math knowledge with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proven track record of safety performance and communication.
  • Responsible, reliable, and accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in manufacturing.

Educational Background

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
