Manufacturing Team Member

The Manufacturing Team Member will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting metal forming equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust metal forming equipment using appropriate tools and procedures.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks, including measuring length, width, and hole spacing, and maintaining quality paperwork.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and notify maintenance personnel of any machine issues that may impact production.
- Safety: Work safely and follow all safety rules and operational procedures.
- Qualifications: Mechanically inclined, problem solver, and team oriented.
- Education and Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred, or military equivalent recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.
- Lifting: Up to 50 lbs.
- Standing: 8 or more hours per day.
- Walking: Off and on, 4-6 hours per day.
- Body Positions: Squatting, bending, flexing, and extending both arms.
- Grasping: Both hands, up to 8 hours per day.
- Sitting: None.
- Pulling: Tools and finished product, up to 15 lbs.
- Climbing (ladders/stairs): Occasionally.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and converting fractions into decimals.
- Ability to read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer accurately.
- Manufacturing facility - exposed to heat and cold.
- Personal Protective Equipment required at all times.
- Noise-controlled environment.
- Activity level is high - continuous overhead crane and forklift movement.
