The Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor plays a vital role in positively impacting our consumers and clinic partners by advising them on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This individual is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will oversee the daily operations of a pharmacy, including the dispensing of prescription medications and providing personalized consultations to consumers. Coaching, developing, and managing pharmacy staff is also a crucial responsibility of this role. The supervisor will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking top talent for pharmacy positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive experience for consumers and clinic partners, building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a clinical expert, collaborating with the clinical team to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, schedules, and personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct wellness services, including immunizations and preventive care.
  • Drive financial performance and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to help them reach their full potential and deliver exceptional service.
  • Create an engaging team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values and culture.
  • Proactively promote recruitment opportunities for top talent in our pharmacies.
  • Review key performance indicators with pharmacy staff, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning to ensure operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to meet their needs and promote pharmacy services.
  • Implement marketing strategies to highlight all pharmacy offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Certified immunizer or willing to obtain certification within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
