Job Overview

At TechnologyAdvice, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our mid-market team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets by leveraging a consultative approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed annual sales goals by utilizing a consultative approach to sell TechnologyAdvice's B2B solutions to marketers.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential clients, identifying and strategizing new customer objectives, and proposing recommendations through deal shaping to secure insertion orders.
  • Prospect into new customers within TechnologyAdvice's mid-market ICP, evaluating assigned accounts based on propensity to purchase, ICP, and other buying signals, and focusing efforts accordingly.
  • Set and hold client meetings through stages of discovery, sales call, proposal, follow-up, negotiation, close, and renewals to exceed revenue goals.
  • Manage and update pipeline opportunities utilizing CRM, providing weekly updates on the pipeline, sales forecasts, and other relevant metrics to track progress against goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients and to identify growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiating skills to make strategic decisions, consistently delivering sales results to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional sales, client success, or similar function in the B2B media space.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated with a results-driven approach, and a confident and determined outlook.
  • Resilience - the ability to cope with rejection, and an agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment.

Work Authorization

Salary Range

We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range: $75,000—$85,000 USD. Total annual compensation including commission up to: $125,000—$160,000 USD.
