Position Overview

Join a Leading Company in Pest Control

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency of a designated group of new team members. You will implement, coordinate, and deliver the training and development program for new hires, while also providing mentorship and coaching to both new and existing staff. Collaborating closely with the field leadership team, you will train and guide associates to optimize their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of Outside Sales Professionals within a specified region.
  • Guide new team members according to the established training framework.
  • Maintain a schedule for training sessions.
  • Conduct various training classes on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze materials submitted by new associates to identify behavioral patterns and challenges, and perform follow-up assessments to measure training effectiveness.
  • Support and develop the training team to ensure they provide meaningful growth opportunities.
  • Organize and facilitate training programs, including managing supplies.
  • Deliver training across all skill levels in the field.
  • Work with new associates to assess and identify areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate with relevant leadership regarding training requirements and individual performance.
  • Boost unit sales and revenue by teaching and enforcing effective sales practices.
  • Conduct regular evening call sessions, daily sales updates, and weekly training meetings.
  • Engage in daily fieldwork with sales associates while meeting minimum sales activity standards.
  • Ensure all sales training objectives are met.
  • Enhance the productivity and sales skills of sales professionals.
  • Evaluate the use of sales tools and methodologies by sales professionals.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of sales programs and proper management of sales materials.
  • Exemplify excellent management practices and maintain a positive company image.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including 1-3 years in outside sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents, professional journals, and regulations.
  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
  • Proficient in basic business mathematics and sales data analysis.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications as mandated by local, state, or federal regulations.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The physical demands of this role require the ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

  • Bending and squatting as necessary.
