Overview: In a rapidly evolving marketplace, understanding the trajectory of Amazon's growth is paramount. The Topline Forecasting Team within the Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) division is at the forefront of addressing critical inquiries regarding product expansion, infrastructure investments, and customer responses to various operational changes.

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead the development of advanced forecasting and analytical tools. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical prowess, innovative thinking, and technical expertise to transform insights into actionable strategies. Additionally, strong interpersonal and project management skills are essential to rally teams across diverse organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Engage with product teams to optimize resource utilization and technology integration.
  • Assemble project teams, define roles, allocate resources, and create timelines to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify potential risks, foresee bottlenecks, and manage escalations effectively.
  • Balance business requirements with technical limitations while fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking to enhance business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • 7+ years in technical product or program management.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional programs, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing intricate technology projects.
  • Experience in leading projects across various teams, developing sustainable processes, and overseeing release schedules.

Compensation: Our compensation structure reflects the labor market across multiple U.S. regions. The base salary for this role varies based on geographic location and ranges from $159,300 to $275,300 annually. Compensation may also include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
