Job Title: IT Systems Operations Supervisor

Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000

Role Overview:

Support the IT Manager in a dynamic setting by configuring and overseeing System and Network infrastructures. Provide advanced support as necessary and take charge of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based computers, mobile devices, and servers.
  2. Offer assistance for Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV).
  3. Set up and monitor network infrastructure, equipment, and devices.
  4. Create and manage user accounts in an enterprise setting.
  5. Implement and troubleshoot RF and wireless devices.
  6. Establish and resolve issues with various printing technologies.
  7. Set up and maintain both desk and mobile phones.
  8. Oversee software installations and updates.
  9. Manage site licenses for departments and facilities.
  10. Diagnose and resolve network, system, and application issues to ensure smooth operations.
  11. Develop training materials, SOPs, Run Books, and instructional guides for IT-related tasks.
  12. Communicate with operations and leadership regarding any issues, propose solutions, and implement preventive measures.
  13. Establish and execute maintenance programs adhering to company and manufacturer standards.
  14. Ensure confidentiality concerning the information processed, stored, or accessed by the network.
  15. Document network issues and resolutions for future reference.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  17. Travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Windows OS and Office applications.
  • Familiarity with network technologies such as switches, routers, and access points.
  • 4+ years of experience in the IT sector with knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills for solving complex issues.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Linux is advantageous.
  • Experience in warehouse IT is beneficial.
  • Understanding of logistics and technology related to warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AGV processes is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to safely operate around heavy moving equipment in a fast-paced setting.

  • Lifting capability of up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer.

Business Continuity Planning:

  • Knowledge of SQL, VM Server Setup, and preparing for system failover, collaborating with operations to minimize impact.
  • Documenting plans for turnover and ensuring adherence to step-by-step processes.
  • Creating daily store orders through the portal.
  • Participating in bi-annual training and testing in a controlled environment to ensure readiness.
  • Maintaining composure in stressful situations and responding quickly to minimize operational disruptions.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Weekend hours are mandatory, and holiday work may be required. Some travel may be necessary.
