Position Overview: Full-Time, hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all elements of guest registration and departure procedures.
  • Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and various hotel departments.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained, with a strict policy against inadequate service.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the reservation process for individual and group guests.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and available packages.
  • Assist in streamlining front desk operations and implementing effective systems to keep staff focused.
  • Participate in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and separations.
  • Educate front desk personnel on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and hotel offerings.
  • Encourage growth in transient sales.
  • Support budget management and efficient staff scheduling.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Possession of necessary government licenses or certifications.
  • Strong understanding of front office procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
  • Experience with cash handling is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
