Position Overview: Full-Time, hourly compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all elements of guest registration and departure procedures.
- Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and various hotel departments.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained, with a strict policy against inadequate service.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the reservation process for individual and group guests.
- Possess thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and available packages.
- Assist in streamlining front desk operations and implementing effective systems to keep staff focused.
- Participate in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and separations.
- Educate front desk personnel on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and hotel offerings.
- Encourage growth in transient sales.
- Support budget management and efficient staff scheduling.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Possession of necessary government licenses or certifications.
- Strong understanding of front office procedures.
- Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
- Experience with cash handling is required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
