Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified Insurance Sales Consultant.

This position offers an evaluation-to-hire opportunity.

Compensation: $40,000 Annually plus Commission

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Sales Consultant, your primary duties will include:

  • Meeting sales targets by acquiring new clients and enhancing services for existing customers.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Upholding a professional image for the organization.
  • Engaging in marketing initiatives for the agency.
  • Providing insurance solutions to clients in the local area.
  • Maintaining an active insurance license through ongoing education.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales or service.
  • A self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Spanish language skills are preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License.
  • A Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.
  • A Life Insurance License is advantageous.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Completion of post-employment training in a virtual environment.
