POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Oilfield Business Development and Sales

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travel across designated regions to promote and sell company offerings to existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop action plans and timelines to pinpoint specific targets and estimate the number of contacts to be established.
  • Initiate the sales process by arranging meetings, delivering presentations, and comprehending customer account needs.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales agreements.
  • Maintain and enhance sales materials and stay updated on current product knowledge.
  • Grow sales within existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with customers and company personnel to create new accounts and assist in maintaining and updating customer account information.
  • Identify and address client concerns effectively.
  • Compile various status reports, including activity, follow-up, and goal adherence.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activities to relevant company staff.
  • Engage in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing initiatives.
  • Follow up for payment collection.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales personnel.
  • Analyze market data to uncover potential areas for business growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor actions, and market conditions.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Must reside within 60 miles of the terminal.
  • Minimum of 2.5 years of general oilfield experience, including knowledge of drilling rigs, water transfer, oilfield logistics, pipeline and production, and oilfield construction.
  • At least 2.5 years of experience in customer relations and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Comfortable navigating rig and frac sites as well as lease roads.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Highly motivated with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to create presentations and assist in developing marketing materials that positively highlight the company.
  • This role requires extensive travel and fieldwork.
  • Availability for on-call duties and weekend work is necessary.
  • Experience in commissioned sales, field sales, or related areas is preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage various variables are essential.
  • Self-motivated with a dynamic personality.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Must successfully pass background screening, including MVR and criminal background checks.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
