Position Overview

The Senior Operations Executive for Express Services will oversee warehouse and ramp operations, collaborating with both internal and external high-level partners to guarantee the effective management of Express cargo within our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, lead, and manage personnel to foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and pride in a diverse and multicultural workplace.
  • Develop future leaders and managers by enhancing their leadership and management capabilities.
  • Supervise staff to align with business objectives and ensure successful outcomes in accordance with service performance standards.
  • Ensure operational leaders are guiding Lead Agents and Warehouse Agents to adhere to established safety protocols and standards. Always wear a safety vest while on duty.
  • Engage in recruitment efforts, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
  • Support employee relations and conflict resolution, conduct performance evaluations, and provide input for disciplinary actions.
  • Uphold security measures in compliance with airport regulations and challenge unauthorized individuals within operational areas.
  • Compile various operational reports, providing regular weekly and monthly data, including special reports as needed.
  • Complete injury and damage reports as necessary.
  • Ensure post-accident and post-injury testing is conducted as required.
  • Assist clients in providing information for compliance reports and audits.
  • Maintain necessary records and appointments for employment requirements at the airport.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in airline, logistics, or transportation preferred.
  • 8-10 years of leadership and management experience required.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States is necessary.
  • Availability to work a flexible 24/7 schedule based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
  • Strong observational and identification skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service and reliability.
  • Commitment to values such as responsibility, honesty, and integrity.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Basic proficiency in office equipment and software (e.g., MS Office, Kronos).
  • Understanding of advanced arithmetic and airline codes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prepare written communications.
  • Capability to follow instructions from management and provide direction to supervisors.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain stationary for approximately 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move within the office to access equipment and files.
  • Regularly operate office machinery such as computers and printers.
  • Walk short distances and reach above or below shoulder height.
  • Handle documents and office equipment effectively.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policies.
