Position Overview:

As the Program Operations Manager, you will play an essential role in guiding the direction and effectiveness of our regional initiatives, ensuring that events for staff, corps members, and alumni are aligned with our core values and cultural priorities.

Your position is central to our region's progress, as you will enhance the capacity of our senior leaders and support our community in thriving collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Program Operations and Special Projects (55%):
    • Design and implement engagement strategies for alumni, including social events and surveys.
    • Oversee execution of programmatic priorities, including events for corps members.
    • Assist in the execution of matriculation and certification strategies.
    • Develop and implement regional communication strategies for various stakeholders.
    • Adaptively manage multiple projects to support regional goals.
  2. Support Executive Leadership (30%):
    • Collaborate with leadership to manage schedules and strategic priorities.
    • Draft communications for key external stakeholders.
    • Handle travel logistics and expense reports for leadership.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to align leadership time with strategic needs.
    • Prepare for internal and external meetings as required.
  3. Oversee Office and Fiscal Operations (15%):
    • Manage internal systems related to finance and compliance.
    • Serve as the primary contact for regional and national finance colleagues.
    • Create efficient operational systems for the office.
    • Ensure the team has necessary resources for success.
    • Manage vendor relationships and facilitate access to office amenities.
  4. Additional Duties (5%):
    • Contribute to regional efforts towards long-term goals.
    • Engage in professional development opportunities.
    • Participate in corps member recruitment activities.

A Typical Week:

Throughout the week, you will manage various projects for the Washington team, which may include planning and executing events, processing financial documents, and coordinating with national teams for resources. You will ensure that office systems are functioning effectively, create content for communications, and organize leadership priorities and schedules.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates with a proven track record in motivating teams, managing multiple projects, and demonstrating exceptional organizational skills. A minimum of two years of professional experience is required, along with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
