Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of processes, standards, and operational strategies that align with procurement objectives, including proposal requests, risk management, and cost accountability.
  • Evaluate and analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid submissions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to operational plans.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to address supply chain challenges and act as a subject matter expert for various functional areas.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to material and cost assessments.
  • Set performance objectives and guide team members towards achieving developmental goals.
  • Clarify policies and procedures while influencing team dynamics.
  • Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, addressing intricate problems that require consideration of various factors.
  • Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, risk assessment, and performance oversight.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is necessary for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience as a Materials Program Manager.
  • Prior experience in managing teams.
  • Experience in a matrix organization with multi-site leadership.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering-related fields is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Project management experience is a significant advantage.
  • Eligibility for T/S Security clearance.
