Position Overview:
At Nightwing, our mission is to leverage our extensive experience and engineering prowess to support national and allied defense initiatives. We are seeking a dedicated Material Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in fostering collaboration between Supply Chain and Program Teams, ensuring the successful execution of material strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Material Program Plans and Supplier Management strategies.
- Conduct sourcing decisions and manage the Make/Buy/Where process effectively.
- Identify and manage Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs, ensuring compliance with necessary Terms Attachments and Modifications.
- Assist in creating Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) to clarify expectations and deliverables.
- Generate and analyze Supplier Requests for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Oversee Supplier New Add/Re-Activation requests to maintain supplier relationships.
- Drive the generation of Purchase Requisitions and manage Purchase Orders efficiently.
- Engage with suppliers through reviews and performance assessments to ensure quality and reliability.
Essential Qualifications:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Supply Chain, Production Control, and Procurement processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and Financial forecasting techniques.
