Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of operational standards and strategies that align with procurement objectives, including managing requests for proposals (RFPs), risk assessments, and program execution.
  • Evaluate and analyze RFPs and bid submissions to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to operational plans, collaborating closely with various departments to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Engage with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to address supply chain challenges and provide expertise across functional areas.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits related to material and cost assessments.
  • Set clear objectives and guide team members towards achieving developmental goals.
  • Clarify policies and procedures while influencing best practices within the organization.
  • Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, navigating challenges that involve various factors.
  • Perform additional reasonable duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in supply chain management, vendor relations, risk assessment, and performance oversight.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in a Materials Program Manager role.
  • Background in managing teams and leading in a matrix organization.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Top Secret Security eligibility is a plus.
