Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain expert to join our team as a Material Program Manager. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual who can set and accomplish program goals within a collaborative framework. You will serve as the key point of contact between the Supply Chain and Program Teams, crafting and implementing Material Program Strategies to guarantee the seamless delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Strategies.
  • Making informed sourcing decisions and overseeing the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying and managing Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and necessary Terms Attachments.
  • Assisting in the creation of Supplier Statements of Work.
  • Developing Supplier Requests for Information/Proposals/Quotes and analyzing supplier responses.
  • Managing Supplier New Add/Re-Activation requests efficiently.
  • Overseeing Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order management.
  • Engaging with suppliers to assess and enhance performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Background in Supply Chain, Production Control, or Procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and Financial forecasting.
