Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled supply chain expert to take on the role of Material Program Manager. This position requires a proactive individual capable of formulating and achieving program goals within a collaborative environment. You will serve as the primary connection between Supply Chain and the Program Team, responsible for developing and implementing Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure seamless execution of products and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Strategies.
  • Making informed sourcing decisions and managing the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying and managing Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs, including necessary Terms Attachments and Modifications.
  • Assisting in the creation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Requests for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and analyzing supplier responses.
  • Processing Supplier New Add/Re-Activation requests efficiently.
  • Overseeing Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order management.
  • Engaging with suppliers to assess and enhance performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and Financial forecasting.
