Position Overview:
The Construction Trades Supervisor oversees and directs the specific trade services provided by Adena Corporation for assigned projects. This role ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols while achieving project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts safety planning and promotes safety awareness for the trade-specific scope of the project managed by Adena Corporation

• Monitors other trades on-site to ensure that their activities do not jeopardize the safety of Adena crews

• Prepares routine project documentation including daily work reports, weekly safety meetings, and job hazard assessments

• Tracks productivity metrics, crew size, and units installed to ensure project timelines are met or exceeded

• Regularly reviews the project schedule to confirm that it remains on track

• Documents any delays, safety issues, adverse site conditions, or other factors affecting work performance

• Understands the scope of work and discusses any additional work with the project manager prior to commencement

• Assesses manpower needs and collaborates with manpower managers to ensure adequate staffing on the project

• Evaluates equipment needs and coordinates with the equipment manager to ensure necessary tools are available on-site

• Facilitates daily coordination meetings with all trades involved

• Oversees the quality of work performed, both by in-house teams and subcontractors

• Receives and inspects all material deliveries to ensure they match delivery documentation

• Checks for potential damage or quality issues in deliveries and reports findings to the relevant department

• Organizes and codes all delivery tickets for submission to the project manager

• Collaborates with the project manager to review job cost reports and manage project expenses

• Maintains an updated set of as-built documents

• Communicates regularly with clients to ensure project expectations are being met

• Coordinates the management of subcontractors with the project manager

• Adheres to company safety policies to foster a secure work environment

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Adena- Construction Trades Supervisor

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Relevant education or a combination of experience, education, and training that equips the candidate with the necessary knowledge and skills for supervisory duties

• 30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment

• Proficient in reading construction blueprints

• Capable of interpreting and contributing to a construction schedule

• Thorough understanding of Adena Corporation's safety protocols and OSHA regulations

• Willingness to travel to job sites, which may occasionally require overnight stays

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold environments

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

• Dependable attendance and consistency in schedule adherence

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
