Position Overview:
The General Trades Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing the specific trade services provided by Adena Corporation for assigned projects. This role enforces company policies, procedures, and safety standards while ensuring project timelines are met.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develops safety plans and promotes safety awareness for the specific trade scope of ongoing projects.

• Coordinates with other trades to ensure that work does not jeopardize the safety of Adena crews.

• Prepares routine project documentation, including daily reports, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses.

• Monitors productivity and crew size to ensure adherence to bid time production rates.

• Regularly reviews project schedules to confirm that timelines are being met or exceeded.

• Documents any delays, safety issues, or site conditions that may impact project performance.

• Collaborates with project managers to discuss any work outside the defined scope.

• Assesses manpower needs and collaborates with manpower managers to ensure adequate staffing.

• Evaluates equipment requirements and works with equipment managers to ensure necessary tools are available on-site.

• Facilitates daily coordination meetings with all trades involved.

• Ensures quality control of both self-performed work and subcontracted tasks.

• Reviews all material deliveries for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies.

• Organizes and submits all delivery documentation to the project manager.

• Works with project managers to analyze job cost reports and manage project expenses.

• Maintains up-to-date as-built documentation.

• Communicates regularly with clients to ensure project expectations are met.

• Coordinates the management of subcontractors with project managers.

• Adheres to safety policies to maintain a secure work environment.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Relevant education or a combination of experience, education, and training that equips the candidate with the necessary skills for foreman duties.

• 30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.

• Proficient in reading building blueprints and construction schedules.

• In-depth knowledge of Adena Corporation's safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

• Willingness to travel to job sites, including potential overnight stays.

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Dependable attendance and consistency in schedule adherence.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and leadership capabilities.
