Position Overview:
The General Trades Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the specific trade services provided by Adena Corporation for assigned projects. This role is pivotal in enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards while ensuring project timelines are met.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develops safety plans and promotes safety awareness for the specific trade scope of ongoing projects.

• Monitors other trades on-site to ensure Adena crews are not exposed to potential hazards.

• Completes essential project documentation, including daily reports, weekly safety meetings, and job hazard assessments.

• Tracks project progress, crew productivity, and ensures adherence to production timelines.

• Regularly reviews project schedules to maintain or accelerate project timelines.

• Documents any delays, safety issues, or site conditions that may impact work performance.

• Understands the scope of work and discusses any additional work with project management prior to commencement.

• Evaluates manpower needs and collaborates with management to ensure appropriate staffing.

• Assesses equipment requirements and coordinates with management to ensure necessary tools are available on-site.

• Leads daily coordination meetings with all trades involved.

• Ensures quality control of both self-performed work and subcontractor activities.

• Verifies all material deliveries against delivery tickets for accuracy and quality.

• Organizes and submits all delivery documentation to project management.

• Collaborates with project management to review cost reports and manage project expenses.

• Maintains updated as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Communicates regularly with clients to ensure project satisfaction.

• Coordinates subcontractor management with project leadership.

• Adheres to safety policies to foster a secure work environment.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Relevant education or a combination of experience, education, and training that equips the candidate with the necessary skills for foreman responsibilities.

• 30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.

• Proficient in reading construction blueprints.

• Ability to interpret and contribute to construction schedules.

• Thorough understanding of Adena Corporation's safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

• Willingness to travel to job sites, which may occasionally require overnight stays.

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold environments.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
