Position Overview:
The General Trades Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the specific trade services provided by Adena Corporation for assigned projects. This role ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards while meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops safety plans and promotes safety awareness for the specific trade scope of the project.
- Coordinates with other trades to ensure a safe working environment for Adena crews.
- Completes essential project documentation, including daily reports and job hazard analyses.
- Monitors crew productivity and project timelines to ensure compliance with bid production rates.
- Regularly reviews project schedules to maintain progress.
- Documents any delays, safety issues, or conditions affecting work performance.
- Understands the scope of work and discusses any out-of-scope tasks with the project manager.
- Assesses manpower needs and collaborates with manpower managers to ensure adequate staffing.
- Evaluates equipment requirements and works with the equipment manager to secure necessary tools.
- Facilitates daily coordination meetings with all trades involved.
- Oversees the quality of work performed by both in-house teams and subcontractors.
- Inspects material deliveries for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintains organized records of delivery tickets for project management.
- Collaborates with project managers to review cost reports and manage project budgets.
- Keeps up-to-date as-built documentation.
- Communicates regularly with clients to ensure project expectations are met.
- Coordinates subcontractor management with the project manager.
- Upholds company safety policies to foster a secure work environment.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

General Trades Supervisor

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Relevant education or a combination of experience and training that equips the candidate with the necessary skills for supervisory duties.
- 30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Proficient in reading building blueprints.
- Ability to interpret and contribute to construction schedules.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and company safety plans.
- Willingness to travel to job sites, including potential overnight stays.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Dependable attendance and consistency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
