Position Title: Adena - Senior Construction Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Position Summary:

The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze cost estimates prepared by the estimating team.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules, phases, and logistics.
  • Conduct constructability reviews as necessary.
  • Create bid packages and define scopes of work.
  • Manage the bidding process, including the selection and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of projects, including:
    • Establishing initial project budget frameworks.
    • Updating project budgets regularly.
    • Overseeing change requests and ensuring proper documentation of change orders.
    • Auditing project costs and expenditures.
    • Managing invoicing processes for owners and subcontractors.
    • Ensuring project profitability.
  • Prepare and present monthly MPSR reports to leadership.
  • Generate and distribute monthly executive reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the RFI and submittal processes.
  • Provide monthly updates on project schedules.
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to maintain project schedules and safety standards.
  • Facilitate OAC meetings and document outcomes.
  • Organize and lead regular project manager meetings, maintaining thorough meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate project activities with team members.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and files.
  • Manage all construction-related documents.
  • Oversee project closeout and completion documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison among the Owner, Design Team, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Continuously assess and mitigate project risks.
  • Participate in RFQ/RFP responses and project interviews as necessary.
  • Assist in identifying and developing future project opportunities.
  • Adhere to safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with VISTA accounting and project management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
