Adena Corporation is seeking a dedicated General Trades Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
The General Trades Supervisor is responsible for managing and directing the trade-specific scope of services provided by Adena Corporation for assigned projects. This role enforces company policies, procedures, and safety standards while ensuring project timelines are met.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develops safety plans and promotes safety awareness for the specific trades involved in projects.

• Coordinates with other trades to ensure that work does not jeopardize the safety of Adena crews.

• Prepares routine project documentation, including daily reports, weekly safety meetings, and hazard assessments.

• Monitors project productivity and crew efficiency to meet or exceed production targets.

• Regularly reviews project schedules to ensure timely completion.

• Documents any delays, safety issues, or site conditions that may impact work performance.

• Understands the scope of work and discusses any additional work with project management prior to commencement.

• Assesses manpower needs and collaborates with management to ensure adequate staffing.

• Evaluates equipment requirements and works with management to ensure necessary tools are available on-site.

• Facilitates daily coordination meetings with all trades involved.

• Oversees the quality of work performed by both in-house teams and subcontractors.

• Inspects material deliveries for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies.

• Organizes and submits all delivery documentation to project management.

• Collaborates with project management to review financial reports and manage project costs.

• Maintains updated as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Communicates regularly with clients to ensure project expectations are met.

• Coordinates the management of subcontractors in collaboration with project management.

• Adheres to safety policies to foster a secure work environment.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

General Trades Supervisor

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Relevant education or a combination of experience, education, and training that equips the candidate to perform supervisory duties.

• 30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.

• Proficient in reading construction blueprints.

• Ability to interpret and contribute to construction schedules.

• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and company safety plans.

• Willingness to travel to job sites, including potential overnight stays.

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Capable of working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and dusty environments.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
