Job Overview
The field-based Strategic Account Executive is tasked with the effective promotion and integration into integrated delivery networks (IDNs), Academic Centers, Health Systems, and other significant healthcare providers within the assigned territory.
The Strategic Account Executives will nurture and establish strategic partnerships with designated IDNs and Health Systems, facilitating access for the field team to healthcare professionals associated with these systems.
Collaboration with the field sales team is essential to plan, coordinate, and execute integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential early adopters to generate interest in Guardant Health's products and services.
- Achieve and surpass sales objectives, optimize promotional budgets, and implement the national sales strategy in alignment with Guardant Health standards.
- Drive strategic business growth and collaboration opportunities with Academic Centers, Large Health Systems, and IDNs.
- Develop and execute a business plan that aligns with brand strategy to support product launches.
- Spot opportunities in the marketplace, share best practices, and proactively communicate strategies to cross-functional partners and the Commercial Team.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape and environment within assigned accounts to identify trends and relay customer feedback to leadership.
- Craft detailed strategic plans for acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
- Oversee the implementation of promotional activities to bolster sales and marketing strategies, adhering to high industry standards and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with various departments across Guardant Health.
- Coordinate with all sales roles (VP of Sales, NSDs, RSDs, and AEs) to ensure the successful achievement of company goals and objectives.
- Embody and represent the Guardant Health company culture to both external and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate Guardant Health's Values by acting with integrity, respect, trust, and maintaining a positive attitude while understanding the dynamics of organizational growth and change.
- Support and adhere to the company's Compliance, Regulatory, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Uphold the company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
This role requires fieldwork, with the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the assigned area and occasional travel outside the area for regional or national meetings.
Must meet customer office access requirements.
