Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various teams, including engineering, support, security, compliance, and customer success, to establish robust integration points that foster rapid innovation. As DocuSign undergoes a significant technological and cultural shift from Private Cloud Infrastructure to Public Cloud (Azure), your contributions will be vital in driving operational evolution and cultivating a true DevOps culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the VP, offering insights and constructive feedback to influence direction and priorities.
  • Encourage cross-departmental collaboration and communication, ensuring key messages are effectively conveyed.
  • Promote alignment and teamwork across various departments.
  • Facilitate communication among partners, dismantling silos and fostering a cooperative culture.
  • Develop and uphold administrative frameworks to support efficient decision-making and execution of organizational goals.
  • Design and implement structures and processes that nurture a high-performance culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the VP's vision and the company's objectives.
  • Oversee critical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform decisions and maintain a connection to operational details.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate KPIs and OKRs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of projects, anticipating dependencies and potential obstacles.
Job Designation

Hybrid: Employees will split their time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum in-office presence required.

Positions at DocuSign are categorized as In Office, Hybrid, or Remote, specific to the role. Preferred designations are not guaranteed when transitioning within the company.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including 7 years in leadership roles, primarily within the High-Tech sector.
  • Over 10 years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering or technical program management.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced environments, successfully driving strategic initiatives and achieving results.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong inclination for action and ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Expertise in Site Reliability, Cloud technologies, and Technical Operations.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tackling new projects and challenges.
  • Well-honed project management skills, adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Strong academic background, preferably with a graduate degree.
Wage Transparency

In accordance with applicable laws, the following salary ranges apply:

California: $195,500 - $315,775 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $186,200 - $276,125 base salary

This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
